The type of personal information we collect
Gambeta does not directly collect personal information from individuals.
We use reputable third-party sports data providers and process only the types of data they supply. Depending on the provider and the scope of our work, this may include:
- Full Name
- Date of Birth
- Employer / Club
- Match Performance Data (e.g., passes, actions, duels, pressures, involvement maps, and other match-related metrics)
- Publicly available contextual information related to football activity
We do not collect contact details, behavioural data, or personal identifiers beyond what is provided to us by data suppliers for football performance and analytical purposes.
How we get personal information
All personal data processed by Gambeta is obtained exclusively from third-party sports data providers who are responsible for the collection and lawful licensing of that data.
Gambeta does not collect personal information directly from athletes, website visitors, or users.
Our right to process data
We process personal data under the lawful basis of legitimate business interest.
This includes:
- Providing football analytics and performance insights
- Supporting clubs and organisations with data-informed decision-making
- Conducting research, visualisation, and advisory work relating to football performance
- Ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and quality of analytics derived from licensed data
We process only the data necessary for these purposes.
How we store personal information
All data handled by Gambeta is stored securely.
We use controlled databases and cloud environments with role-based access restrictions.
Access to personal data:
- Is limited strictly to staff members who require it for a legitimate business purpose
- Follows internal data governance and security protocols
- Is monitored and reviewed periodically
We do not share or sell data to any third parties beyond what is necessary for our operations and contractual obligations.

We do not charge fees for handling data-rights requests, and we will respond within one month.
